Common questions
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. The Free tier requires no card. You can sign up, run a few evaluations, track applications, and edit your CV without ever entering payment details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — one click in your billing settings opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the billing period; nothing is deleted.
Who pays for the AI?
We do. The subscription covers our Anthropic API costs. The Free tier includes a small evaluation budget per month so you can try it out; Pro removes the cap.
Why monthly + yearly?
Yearly saves you ~17% (two months free). Pick monthly if you're testing the waters, yearly if you've decided this is part of your job-search routine.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. You keep your tracker, evaluations, and CV. The only thing that changes: gated features (scanner, tailored CV) become read-only or hidden, and the monthly evaluation cap returns.
Is this affiliated with the original career-ops project?
CareerFlow is built on top of career-ops, an open-source MIT-licensed project by Santiago Fernández de Valderrama. We license-comply (kept the copyright, attributed in our About / footer), but we run independently.
